. . . and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17b).
God is our Father, the One whose
seed made all of us, the Progenitor. God
is the Son, Jesus Christ, who, in the beginning, was the Word who was with and
is God (John 1:1)
Can we see the words we
speak? Can we touch them? No, we can’t.
Therefore, words are not physical.
Our mothers warn us when we speak out of turn, usually in inhuman rage,
“Be careful what you say . . . it will come back to you!” or “You better watch
your mouth!”
Words are powerful because when
spoken, they either create or destroy (Proverbs 18:21; James 3). In the beginning, when the Spirit of God was
hovering over the face of the waters, God said, “Let
there be light,” and there was light (Genesis 1:2-3). And through Him, all things were made (John
1:3). That “Light” God spoke
into being shines in the darkness, but the darkness does not understand it
(John 1:5; 12:35-36).
The Word of God later became
flesh and made His dwelling among us; the glory of the One and Only, who came
from the Father, full of grace and truth. Before Jesus was murdered on that Cross at Calvary,
He told His disciples, “The Counselor,
the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all
things, and will remind you . . . .” (Johh 14:26).
After His resurrection from
Golgotha’s grave, He came to meet His disciples; and He breathed on them
saying, “Receive the Holy Spirit” (John
20:22).

There are too many atheists
walking this earth now, just as there are billions of us worshiping dark
deities of the occult and things “magical” and “astro-logical”. Lukewarm and cold Christians have been added
to this legion of unbelievers in the person of the Holy Spirit of God largely
because they have never experienced the miraculous nature of the God of
Truth. Therefore, billions of human
beings are living in a GREAT BIG LIE.
And it is the heart of God to send us who have His Holy Spirit living
and breathing in us to execute that lie with the GREAT COMMISSION—which
requires us to effectively wield His Sword of the Spirit.

This intentionally vicious
onslaught of debilitating lies about who Christ and the Holy Spirit are is to
shut up the mouth of the Holy Spirit-filled Christian, so that he or she will
not speak out and clearly shout the Word of God which is easily available to
all of us because it is written in over 200 human languages and has been made
digital, audio and visual—THE BIBLE.
Get HOT and stay HOT, Christian Soldier,
speaking with all boldness the promises of God so magnificently illustrated
throughout the entire scripture from Genesis (I
will bless those who bless you . . .
12:3) to Revelation (And they
overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the [spoken] word
of their testimony . . . 12:11).
The evil darts of the Enemy requires Holy Spirit fire to quench all of them, to put them out of the lives of the believer. So make men believers by wielding your Sword! THE SWORD is Armor of God. THE HOLY SPIRIT is the Weapon. That weapon is the power in God’s Word spoken by your tongue which is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Hebrews 4:12, NIV) taking captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5).
SPEAK NOW: “SATAN,
GET THEE BEHIND ME! I’VE GOT WORK TO
DO!” And every day, in every way,
promise God that you will SPEAK THE PROMISES OF GOD into your life and into the
lives of others living around you.
MARCH ON, BOLD WARRIOR OF GOD, AND REAP THE HARVEST OF SAVE
SOULS! AMEN.
This is not all to the Armor of
God. There is one more essential
component which completes God’s Armory.
Let’s prepare for the power of His protection is the next blog.
