75: CATCH AND ARREST THEM!

 Living In Abundance Series

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37).

Victory is not won by the faint of heart.  Standing at the door of your blessing is that old treacherous devil there blocking your hand from receiving it.  As she stood confronting her fears and demons she named in the previous blog, Jehovah Jireh provided her the gumption to slay every one of them and make a bold move to live in abundance.  With SWORD in hand, she slew that draining dragon and walked through the door to receive her gift from God.

Do you fear rejection?  Do you cower at conflict?  Do you quake at the sea of backbiting?  All power has been given to you to trample upon them all; and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).  We are all born with an innate ability to survive.  Survive, dear Christian, and work in your vineyard.

You are an object for Satan to expose your wounds and pour salt into them to make you holler.  Well, holler this: “Get thee behind me Satan. I am moving forward into my divine right destiny of abundance!”  “What the Lord has planned for me is to give me a future and hope.  He does not plan evil for me.”  “I am His child, and, even if my father and mother forsake me, God will take care of me” (Read Psalm 27).

Don’t shrink back now at the junction of your life.  Look to the left and look to the right and keep going straight toward your goal, that dream you have, and secure it.  Draw closer to Jesus in supplicative prayer and the devil can’t touch you.  Satan will flee from you, but don’t be satisfied with that.  Like David, rush toward Beelzebub, catch him and arrest him.  Rejection, you are arrested!  Conflict, you are arrested! Backbiting accusations, you are arrested! Any evil attacking my life, you are arrested! Lock up all the enemies in your life and send them all back to sender—without delay—in the NAME OF JESUS!

Then delight that the Lord prepares a table for you in the presence of your enemies and anoints your head with oil.  That anointing gives you direct access to His wisdom, the know-how-to maneuver successfully on earth, as it was planned for you in heaven the moment of your conception.  That anointing gives you strength, health, and power to bind on earth anything that goes contrary to fulfilling your life’s mission (plan and purpose).

DO NOT FEAR, FOR I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, SAYS THE LORD.

So walk with confidence, Christian of the Cross.  GOD’S GOT YOU! AND HE CAN’T LET YOU FALL.

That is why Apostle Paul, who went through terrible afflictions, could admonish us to count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:2-4)

This scripture reminds us that we shall surely face the demons in our minds, but we that we must name them, bind them—arrest them—before they crush us physically (Matthew 16:19), and allow patience to do in you the perfect will of God.  Patience does not allow you to stop developing your skills or creating new productive habits that will lead to a life of abundance.  No, you still must work out your salvation, wear your whole armor of God, continue in prayer and meditation on God’s Word.  After you’ve arrested those demons working on your mind and progress, God will give you a rest period, a grace to focus on becoming more like Him.

Christianity is a walk of faith.  It is not a mere religion.  It is a daily journey toward discovering the real you and you celebrating who you are in Christ.  The Holy Spirit is living in us, just as we breathe and are active, so is He.  Jesus is the lover of our souls, and God, our Father is the maker of our souls.  The triune God is at work perfecting everything about you (Psalm 138:8) so that your life will be complete, lacking nothing.

Therefore, Apostle Paul also exhorts us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Next time we meet, let’s get intentionally involved in forming a personal program of practicing the laws of living a life of abundance!
