84: STAY FAITHFUL: BLESSINGS CHASE ASSURANCE

 Living In Abundance Series

Prophet Ezekiel stood in the valley of dry bones and was asked by God: “Son of man, can these bones live?”  A valley experience represents a time of testing your faith.  Troubles may buffet you on every side; and the devil is playing table tennis on your soul, wreaking havoc in your thoughts through the people and the happenings around you.  If you don’t take care to run to Jesus, the spiritual forces of despair (leading to disappointment followed by depression) will keep you in the ‘valley’.

The Background behind this incredible video clip: This task was a joint initiative that extended nations & time areas … | Valley of dry bones, Dry bones, Ezekiel 37

A valley is an area of low land between hills or mountains.  A valley experience is when your soul sinks into a place of lowness.  You feel like you’re in despair.  That despair builds hills of disappointment which stretch into mountains of depression; and you feel there is no way out because it seems the mountains are facing you on all sides—north, east, south, and west.

You recently applied for a financial package, and, after praying and waiting for months, you did not receive it.  The dream you had for building up the business during COVID-19 is slain.  Results from an examination have grounded envisioning enrollment next semester at that dream school.  A family member has taken ill; and you used your last savings for his healing, and the holidays are right around the corner.  People around you are mocking, teasing, disturbing, harassing, even fighting against you making you feel lonely, confused and unloved.  The valley is a place of pain.

The Lord is asking you: “Son/Daughter, can your dream of living in abundance live?” Ezekiel replied, “O Lord God, You know” (Read Ezekiel 37:1-14).  What is your reply to God?  My father taught me by example that when the devil knocks you down, GET UP, STAND UP AND P.U.S.H. HIM DOWN! Prophesy Until Something Happens!  Doing nothing only keeps you locked up in the valley.  The Lord commanded Ezekiel; and right now He’s commanding you to Prophecy to these bones [your dreams and aspirations and great visions of abundant living], and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!

To get out of the valley, you must prophesy (speak) the word of the Lord into your situation without doubting.  YOU MUST STAY FAITHFUL—BLESSINGS CHASE ASSURANCE.  Faith is your hope in the substance—the real existence—of your dreams not seen right now.  The devil is a hope-killer.  The more joy he sees in you as you live God’s purpose for your life, the harder he blows against you.  Prophesy: Come from the four winds [north, east, south, and west], O breath, and breathe on my slain hope, that it may live!

Fear combats faith, so a true believer of Christ overcomes this fear by faith in what God says: For God did not give me a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).  The resurrection power of the Lord Jesus working in you gives you the staying power you need to GET UP.  Knowing God loves you gingers you to STAND UP.  The mind of Christ thinking in you P.U.S.H.es down all the power of the enemy; and nothing by any means can hurt you.

So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet . . ..  God’s plan for you has not ceased; and it surely will come to pass.  That financial package you did not receive may have not been the blessing for your purpose.  Believe beyond all doubt that another door is open for your business growth. You can take another exam, or enroll in another school and still excel.  Your family member is alive because of your generosity, and God will make a way for your family to enjoy the holidays.

Stay at peace and full of joy in the Lord declaring when I called on the Lord in distress, the Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear (Psalm 118:5-6).

That broad place is called a plain which is a higher ground made specially for you to expand whatever you hope for.  Dream higher!
