70: You Are Needed By God

 Wellness Series

When I began writing this series, I was coming out from the trauma of losing a dearly beloved father.  It was our Heavenly Father who spoke these words for wellness into my soul as I typed them onto the blogs you have read thus far.  I am so grateful to Almighty God that His Spirit has kept me through numerous storms in life.  I just can’t do without Him.  He’s my everything.  I hope that you make our Lord your everything, too.  Life’s not easy—many bumps in the road; but God’s mercy and grace gives you wings to fly over them, feet to dance through them, and a heart of love to persevere.

My life is a living testimony to the awesome wonder of God’s power and love; and I just revel in it!  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. . . Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:29-30).

Health is enjoying yourself as a wonderful person.1

“What? Am I a wonderful person?”  It can be hard to believe when, throughout all your life, folks around you could not understand how you live, and move and have your being.  Your life has been anointed for the service of God from the beginning.  You, who refuse to sit among gossipmongers, scoffers and skeptics, and have sat apart from worldly happenings, it because God’s hand has been on you to keep you for His service.

“How can I be chosen when I’ve made so many bad choices in life, dear Lord?” you ask.  Once you finally gave all of your life to Him, He removed all those layers of sin and washed you completely clean in His blood.  You are justified—now declared righteous, right with God.  There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:1).

Condemnation is to be burdened heavily under the torment of sin.  Sin gives off spiritual energy that is not born from a Holy God.  Sin has a “stench” of rottenness that suffocates the goodness that God put in you at birth.  And this stench constantly declares: “You are guilty; you’re not right with God.”  That is called a burden, a very heavy load.

That’s why Jesus opened His arms to knock on the door of your heart saying, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).  The burden you carry with Jesus is light as His Word because it is born form purity.  Once the stench of sin is washed away, you become to God the fragrance of Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14-15).

YOU WERE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE RIGHT FROM YOUR MOTHER’S WOMB. Read Psalm 139. What happened to make you doubt this undeniable Truth?  Life may have slapped you here and there, but it’s time to GET UP! SHAKE IT OFF AND KEEP ON STEPPING INTO WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU.

It doesn’t matter how many times you fall down.  What matters is how many times you get up. “Look up to Me,” Jesus said to Peter as he walked on the water.  “I will keep you steadfast by My hand.  I got you.  Trust Me!” And Peter got his miracle.  But when the waves roared and came crashing too close for his comfort, Peter looked away from Jesus and sank into the turbulent sea.

Life will criticize you unfairly, cheat you, lie on you, mock and tease you, and purely hate you with all imaginable hatred.  LOOK UP TO JESUS.  HE WILL KEEP YOU STEADY ON YOUR LIFE’S COURSE, YOUR PURPOSE, AND YOU WON’T FALL. YOU WON’T FAIL. YOU WON’T SUFFER SHAME OR DISGRACE.  YOU ARE HIS PRECIOUS ONE, ANOINTED FOR A LIFE IN HIS SERVICE. Remember that every time you meet “the stormers”.

“I make all things beautiful in My time,” says the Lord. “Now is your time to express how wonderful you are.”

69: Yes and Amen!

 Wellness Series

There are times when the soul is so vexed that we can’t see any way out.  We are unsure about which way to go.  That dark cloud of confusion corrupts our corporeality; and life seems all “messed up.”  Corporeality is the place where our physical bodies are located here on earth.  What is real is that you live somewhere, go to school or work somewhere, and go to church somewhere.  It is the will of the soul to move your body to some real place upon earth.

The question you must ask your soul-self is: “Is my soul flourishing where I am?”  Flourish means to grow or develop in a healthy way as the result of a congenial (pleasant or happy) environment.  As a youth, in a household with your parents or guardians, it may seem that you do not have a means to move out of an environment that is not congenial to the wellness of your soul.  You may be struggling with bouts of sadness, injustice or abuse; and you don’t see a way out of that oppression.

Let me tell you: SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER.  Suicide leads to hell.  And hell is a whole lot worse because it’s where the soul lives forever – WITH NO WAY OUT!  Hell is real: It’s fire-hot with no water; it’s dark with no light, only smothering flames; and in some areas, it’s also ice-cold and blindingly black.

Health is enjoying a basic sense of well-being, even in times of adversity.1 Adversity is the opposite of congenial, and can be described as bad or unpleasant.  Adversity can make the soul sick if you do not apply the antidote (the vaccine, the cure).

What is the antidote to adversity?  Prayer: The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James 5:16b).  Note again (and forevermore) that righteousness must be in you for prayer to be answered. In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you (Isaiah 54:14).  JESUS IN YOU AND LIVING A HOLY LIFE IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. The first part of James 5:16 says Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed.

In many cultures, to tell someone your trespasses means you are bringing disgrace to yourself or to the person doing it, especially if it is an elder who is respected in the community or church.  Trespasses include not only the sin(s) you yourself commit, but anything or anyone that is doing something evil to you.  Tell it!  Don’t suffer any more.  You don’t deserve to be mistreated, dear precious one.  You deserve the love and mercy and redemption of God, our Father, through faith in Jesus Christ.

Get on your knees and tell Him everything.  Then ask for a way out: Ask Him to reveal to you the person you can talk to, or the place you can go to be safe and secure in the love of Christ.  The first thing is to take a step of faith in prayer.  God will hear you, righteous one.  And He will move mountains for you so that you can clearly find your way to the person or place He’s prepared for you.  Trust in Him completely.  He uses people to help you.

SUICIDE OF YOUR DREAMS IS NOT THE ANSWER.  God revealed to me in a dream how wrong it is to think it’s o.k. to wait for others to excel while you stand back and let yourself come last.  That’s false humility.  Being humble means allowing God to direct your path to well-being as you wholeheartedly obey His instructions without fear of what others will say or do.

YOU ARE A CHILD OF THE MOST HIGH GOD. HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS TO WORK EVERYTHING OUT FOR YOUR GOOD. Killing or deferring your life’s dream is stopping the purpose of God for your life. It is displaying a sinful nature and does not meet the righteousness of God: Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin (James 4:17).  Force your soul-will to line up with God’s good will for your life.  Now!

I pray that the right people (the ones sent by God), the right opportunities (open doors), and the right path to take you to your blessings will come clearly into your life and meet you at the point of your need to flourish and be well.  If you agree with this prayer say, “Yes! Amen!”
