70: You Are Needed By God

 Wellness Series

When I began writing this series, I was coming out from the trauma of losing a dearly beloved father.  It was our Heavenly Father who spoke these words for wellness into my soul as I typed them onto the blogs you have read thus far.  I am so grateful to Almighty God that His Spirit has kept me through numerous storms in life.  I just can’t do without Him.  He’s my everything.  I hope that you make our Lord your everything, too.  Life’s not easy—many bumps in the road; but God’s mercy and grace gives you wings to fly over them, feet to dance through them, and a heart of love to persevere.

My life is a living testimony to the awesome wonder of God’s power and love; and I just revel in it!  For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son. . . Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified (Romans 8:29-30).

Health is enjoying yourself as a wonderful person.1

“What? Am I a wonderful person?”  It can be hard to believe when, throughout all your life, folks around you could not understand how you live, and move and have your being.  Your life has been anointed for the service of God from the beginning.  You, who refuse to sit among gossipmongers, scoffers and skeptics, and have sat apart from worldly happenings, it because God’s hand has been on you to keep you for His service.

“How can I be chosen when I’ve made so many bad choices in life, dear Lord?” you ask.  Once you finally gave all of your life to Him, He removed all those layers of sin and washed you completely clean in His blood.  You are justified—now declared righteous, right with God.  There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:1).

Condemnation is to be burdened heavily under the torment of sin.  Sin gives off spiritual energy that is not born from a Holy God.  Sin has a “stench” of rottenness that suffocates the goodness that God put in you at birth.  And this stench constantly declares: “You are guilty; you’re not right with God.”  That is called a burden, a very heavy load.

That’s why Jesus opened His arms to knock on the door of your heart saying, Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” (Matthew 11:28-30).  The burden you carry with Jesus is light as His Word because it is born form purity.  Once the stench of sin is washed away, you become to God the fragrance of Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14-15).

YOU WERE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE RIGHT FROM YOUR MOTHER’S WOMB. Read Psalm 139. What happened to make you doubt this undeniable Truth?  Life may have slapped you here and there, but it’s time to GET UP! SHAKE IT OFF AND KEEP ON STEPPING INTO WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU.

It doesn’t matter how many times you fall down.  What matters is how many times you get up. “Look up to Me,” Jesus said to Peter as he walked on the water.  “I will keep you steadfast by My hand.  I got you.  Trust Me!” And Peter got his miracle.  But when the waves roared and came crashing too close for his comfort, Peter looked away from Jesus and sank into the turbulent sea.

Life will criticize you unfairly, cheat you, lie on you, mock and tease you, and purely hate you with all imaginable hatred.  LOOK UP TO JESUS.  HE WILL KEEP YOU STEADY ON YOUR LIFE’S COURSE, YOUR PURPOSE, AND YOU WON’T FALL. YOU WON’T FAIL. YOU WON’T SUFFER SHAME OR DISGRACE.  YOU ARE HIS PRECIOUS ONE, ANOINTED FOR A LIFE IN HIS SERVICE. Remember that every time you meet “the stormers”.

“I make all things beautiful in My time,” says the Lord. “Now is your time to express how wonderful you are.”
